SHIPPING MANAGER

About the Role

Marlboro Manufacturing Inc is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Shipping Manager to lead our shipping operations in Alliance, OH. Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily shipping and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Manage and coordinate shipping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, carrier requirements, and safety standards
• Cook up and coordinate with production, warehouse, and inventory teams to align shipping schedules with manufacturing output
• Track and manage shipment documentation, BOLs, packing lists, and freight invoices
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers
• Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements to optimize shipping efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

• Proven experience in a shipping, logistics, or distribution management role
• Background in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of freight shipping methods, carrier networks, and logistics software
• Experience managing a team in a fast-paced warehouse or shipping environment
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and shipping compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with shipping management systems, ERP software, or similar platforms
