Responsibilities

The Shipping & Fulfillment Coordinator works in the Shipping and Receiving Facility (SRF) to manage assets and operations, completing required deliverables to support the customer's mission. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing packaging and shipping processes for IT equipment to remote and challenging overseas locations
• Ensuring records demonstrate proper transfer of responsibility and accountability for equipment to the receiving post upon delivery
• Conducting reviews of bills of lading and packing lists as part of receipt and inspection
• Performing visual inspections of items for conformity, damage, or prior usage, noting discrepancies on a Non-Conformance Log
• Correcting discrepancies discovered after receiving inspection at no cost to the Government
• Providing logistical support for domestic and overseas shipments, including transporting to/from various DoS facilities within the NCR
• Preparing materials for shipping based on customer information

Qualifications

The following education and experience are required for this position:

• 3+ years of experience
• Associate's degree or equivalent
• Secret Security Clearance

Preferred requirements include ITIL 4 Foundation Certification(s). Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, ambulate, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required, and lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds, with 10% travel by land or air transportation.
