SHIPPING/EXPORT COORDINATOR C SHIFT

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform basic maintenance on the auto scale and reweigh station.
• Manually stack boxes weighing 45-50 pounds on pallets, segregated by product code.
• Assist with rework by repairing cases or identifying cases for return.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by submitting daily scale adjustment reports.
• Maintain cleanliness by performing daily general sanitation.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Load trucks manually and with equipment, handling cases up to 50 pounds.
• Accurately fill customer orders using Telxon equipment.
• Observe and enforce company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Participate in process improvement and problem-solving initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma, E$P program).
• Identify and act on safety risks, enforcing safe work habits throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentage calculations.
• Ability to pass a Prove It test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Valid forklift and pallet jack license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Willingness to learn new procedures (e.g., bar code scanners, equipment, stacking grids).
• Familiarity with computer systems.
• Ability to work variable hours with excellent attendance.

Pay

$26.25/hour base rate.
