Job Duties

  • Accurately identify, stage, and load product.
  • Stack all pallets properly by order number and product code.
  • Label all pallets with Master Order Number.
  • Verify price, pull dates, and number of cases to the pick sheet.
  • Take completed pallets to the correct manifest operator or stage area.
  • Wrap and load pallets completed by manifest operator.
  • Check stage area for completed pallets, ensuring all cases are labeled and have barcodes that can be scanned.
  • Maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with Company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Report regularly and on time to work as well as work all required hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
  • Understand and follow established rules and procedures, accepting constructive feedback.
  • Work safely and set a good example of working safely.
  • Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all Food Safety procedures.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working in a cold environment.
  • Must be able to obtain forklift, pallet jack, and yard goat certifications.
  • Must be able to learn and utilize EMW system for shipping and warehouse management.
  • Must be able to lift boxes weighing between 50 to 80 pounds repeatedly.
  • Must be willing and able to work various shifts, overtime, and non-standard work hours.
  • Must be able to stand on concrete floor, grating, or metal stand for prolonged periods.
  • Must have a demonstrated history of dependability, especially regarding safety and attendance.
  • Must be willing to submit and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Pay and Schedule

Pay rates start at $21.95 per hour with shift premiums of $0.50 for hours worked 4pm-midnight and $1.00 for hours worked midnight-8am. A longevity premium of $0.25 is added after one year of service. An attendance premium of $0.25 is also provided.
