Shipping Distribution Associate - 2nd shift with 10% shift premium

Responsibilities

• Compare product identification information and counts against daily pull sheets.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, track, verify, and record inventory movements.
• Print and affix shipping and special labels on cartons for designated customers.
• Record shortages and assemble customer orders on pallets to meet customer needs.
• Operate a variety of forklift trucks to move and store cartons on warehouse racks.
• Verify and examine shipments for accuracy using hand-held scanners.
• Move product in and out of the warehouse using the First-in, First-out (FIFO) method.
• Comply with safety and quality rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent training required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification and experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understanding and compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Basic math skills and interpretation of data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$22.40 per hour plus a 10% shift premium.
