Shipping Coordinator

About the role

The Shipping Coordinator will enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents in a web-based database. The role involves comparing data entered with source documents and correcting discrepancies as needed. Additional responsibilities include compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data to be entered. This position supports the Ops team.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into a web-based database program in compliance with established policies and procedures
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all designated data entries
• Identify discrepant data both in writing and verbally to the supervisor
• Perform performance analysis to support roadmap for operational planning
• Respond to unanticipated changes, such as increases or decreases in demand, by providing information, impact assessment, and downstream customer updates
• Complete other duties assigned by management as business needs shift or change

Requirements

• Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills
• Experience handling high-volume, sensitive, routine work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to process inbound email requests quickly
• Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement in operations and reporting/information visibility
• Strong Microsoft Excel background, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and index match

Pay

$18.18 - $36.72/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
