Shipping Coordinator

About the role

Fenix Group SPC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking to hire a full-time Shipping Coordinator to help manage the shipping schedule and ensure customer delivery deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

• scheduling shipments and managing the outbound shipping schedule
• working with carriers and internal team members to understand the urgency of freight, resolving issues, and ensuring top tier service
• seeking out rate quotes with shipping vendors and logistics companies
• maintaining and updating shipping records and paperwork
• collaborating with the customer service team to ensure coordination of special shipments and rush orders
• contacting common carriers and scheduling return freight, ensuring it meets customer requirements
• documenting and handling the claims process for product damaged during shipping
• notifying customers when will call orders are ready to be picked up

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Experience working in a logistics and/or shipping environment
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with vendors online including using their custom shipping software

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday 8:30am‑5:00pm with a half‑hour lunch and two paid breaks daily.
