Shipping Clerk / Marking Operator

About the Role

The Marking position is responsible for setting up and operating marking, engraving, and rolling stamping equipment to mark, stamp, or engrave parts according to WFI-Customer Specifications onto manufactured products.

Responsibilities

• Set up marking and stamping equipment.
• Review WFI Job Orders Specification to set up marking for manufactured parts.
• Ensure first article inspection is completed to meet WFI requirements.
• Identify marking priorities based on Sales Order Due Date or Hot Orders.
• Deburr and grind parts to eliminate sharp edges and potential scale.
• Set up and operate manual mills and lathes to produce tensile and sharpy test pieces.
• Maintain work area clean and organized.
• Maintain marking equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE accordingly.
