Shipping Clerk

Role Overview: This position provides clerical support within a distribution center, assisting warehouse operations with data entry, file maintenance, and processing shipping and receiving paperwork to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, and loading according to established procedures.Create and process work orders, bills of lading, purchase orders, invoices, and prioritize tasks.Validate data accuracy from various sources and manage documentation.Coordinate with vendors, delivery drivers, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth workflow and resolve discrepancies.Handle clerical tasks including data entry, filing, copying, faxing, and preparing reports.Assist with mail distribution, shipping packages, and maintaining office supplies.Participate in inventory counts and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED preferred.One-year clerical, warehouse, or wholesale experience preferred.Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.Proficient in data entry, with attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.Must follow safety protocols and work in a warehouse setting. Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, perform repetitive movements, and work in varying temperature and noise conditions. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
