Shipping Clerk/CSR

About the role

We are currently looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our Dallas, Texas operation.

Responsibilities

• Check in drivers, look up shipments provided by drivers, and direct them to the appropriate dock doors for unloading of product.
• Verify BOL(s) and manifest paperwork for inbounds to determine if all the freight was received or if there are discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages).
• Ensure proper identification and labeling of freight as it is received.
• Produce ASN files for inbounds and outbound shipments.
• Answer incoming calls from drivers and give directions to the facility.
• Manage emails between the customer and carriers.
• Keep a daily on-hand report.

Requirements

• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and quick problem-solving ability.
• Regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality are a must.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).

Pay

Starting at $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for raises and career advancement based on performance.

Schedule

Monday–Friday
