Shipping Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document every layer of material staged during the loading process.
• Maintain detailed records of material types, quantities, and placement for each order.
• Verify staged materials match the shop order.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies before and during staging.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations in the yard.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in yard coordination, logistics, or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with steel building materials is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
