Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document every layer of material staged during the loading process.
- Maintain detailed records of material types, quantities, and placement for each order.
- Verify staged materials match the shop order.
- Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies before and during staging.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations in the yard.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in yard coordination, logistics, or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with steel building materials is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
