Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outbound shipments using ERP systems and carrier portals
- Generate packing slips, bills of lading (BOLs), shipping labels, commercial invoices, and related shipping documentation
- Cook up domestic and international shipments as needed
- Cook up pickups and deliveries with carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, and customers
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Verify shipment quantities, labels, packaging, and documentation before release
- Prepare and stage shipments for carrier pickup
- Assist with packaging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling finished goods
- Support receiving activities and material movement as needed
- Maintain communication with warehouse, planning, and customer service teams regarding shipment status
- Aid with inventory transactions related to shipping and receiving
- Support cycle counts and inventory verification activities
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies
- Support hands-on warehouse operations as needed during high-volume periods
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- One to three years of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience is preferred
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- ERP experience is preferred; IQMS / DelmiaWorks experience is a plus
- Familiarity with LTL, FTL, and parcel shipments is preferred
- Forklift experience or certification is preferred
- A strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required
- The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is required
- A basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) is required
- The ability to lift and move material as required is required
