Shipping Clerk

Location: Sedalia, Missouri

About the role

This position is responsible for preparing all shipping paperwork and corresponding system transactions to ensure timely and accurate shipments of customer orders. The Shipping Clerk also resolves potential issues with customer shipments that might prevent on‑time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with Customer Service to arrange freight that meets customer needs.
• Collaborate with Customer Service on shipment requirements and address shipment issues.
• Enter requisitions according to the demand for supplies needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 3 years of clerical experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• SAP knowledge preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
