About the role

As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aircraft components, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly to support safe and efficient flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection and repair of avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and lighting systems.
• Perform component overhauls and installations as required.
• Work closely with pilots and engineers to diagnose and resolve issues with aircraft systems.
• Follow industry standards and regulations for maintenance and repair work.
• Document all work performed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aviation technology, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in avionics maintenance.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid FAA Part 147 Maintenance License.
• Experience with aircraft such as Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, and other general aviation aircraft is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with some weekend and evening work as needed.
