Shipping Clerk

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping tickets, bills of lading, and related paperwork with accuracy and completeness
• Use the Acme system to scan and track inbound/outbound materials
• Cook up the daily Acme Truck Schedule and work with trucking companies to avoid delays
• Evaluate shipping notices and orders to determine priorities and shipping methods
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding pickups and deliveries
• Direct the handling and storage of incoming materials
• Support forklift drivers in keeping daily logs and paperwork accurate

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
