About the role

The Buyer Planner II is responsible for sourcing and negotiating vendor contracts to ensure supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role works closely with suppliers to manage inventory levels and optimize procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Source and negotiate vendor contracts
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality products
  • Optimize procurement processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Experience with contract negotiation and supplier management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
