Shipping Clerk - 1st Shift

About the role

Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join the team at our Grove City, OH facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control review of each order
• Check-in orders
• Agregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers
• Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels
• Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timely
• Follow safety requirements for the position
• Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment
• Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Completes shipping reports

Requirements

• Within this position, must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Skills

• Experience in Pick/Packing is preferred
• Experience with UPS and FedEx software is preferred

Schedule

7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as required, including some weekends
