Shipping Associate TN -2nd

About the role

This position reports to the Department Lead, Warehouse Supervisor, or Logistics Manager and is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties with authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift
• Inspect product and paperwork for shipment
• Package and/or skid finished product for shipment
• Load and unload trucks or carriers
• Place incoming parts and inventory
• Perform any additional duties that may be assigned, including those logically and properly inherent to this position

Requirements

• Ability to learn shipping/receiving paperwork and procedures
• One year of on-the-job experience is a plus
• Must be able to read and write legibly
• Forklift experience preferred; company certification required
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to learn about company products
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety, and company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

• Work is generally performed in a production/warehouse environment 100% of the time
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, bend, and twist
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects of 50 pounds or less, with or without assistance
