Shipping Associate - PHX
About the Role
As a Shipping Associate at Southwest Accessory Group, you will ensure accurate and efficient packing, labeling, staging, and loading of outbound shipments in a fully air-conditioned warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Pack, label, and stage orders
- Scan and verify shipment details
- Load trailers
- Apply labels and route documents
- Communicate discrepancies
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Perform final inspection of shipments
- Support documentation as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior warehouse experience a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently
- Basic computer and RF scanner knowledge
- Ability to read numerals and English
- Bilingual skills a plus
- NetSuite experience a bonus
Physical Demands
- Standing, walking, reaching, and bending for extended periods
- Endurance and balancing/mobility required
- Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks
- Exposure to varying warehouse conditions and loud noises
- Consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs. during an 8-hour shift
- Use of safety equipment as required
Schedule
- Day Shift, Full Time, on-site
- May occasionally require weekends or overtime
Pay
Hourly rate starting at $18.00
