Shipping Associate 3rd Shift

About the role
This role is very physical and requires the ability to exert the force necessary to use a hand truck to transport stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds a distance of up to 300 feet continuously throughout the day into and out of transport trucks, up and down 30-degree slopes. The position also requires the ability to stoop, bend, and lift product containers weighing 20 pounds from floor level up to 7-1/2 feet.
Responsibilities
- Fills orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule.
- Ensures that product received from plant or other plants is recorded correctly.
- Loads and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (e.g., safety, Sarbanes Oxley).
- Performs other duties deemed integral by management, including adherence to attendance policies and operating rules.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and record information applicable to the job.
- One year of shipping or related experience (preferred).

Pay
Salary range: $22.66 - $24.72 per hour.
