Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment, including warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and planning. The role ensures efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment for internal and external customers.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm (overtime as needed).

Job Summary

The Associate II, Warehouse Operations assists with inbound and outbound activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. Responsibilities include receiving products in the inbound area and shipping products in the outbound area.

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks in the inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent device.
  • Use the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
  • Follow regulations for storing specialty refrigerated products.
  • Store products in warehouse locations using an order picker or other devices.
  • Pick products from warehouse locations and load them into outbound trucks.
  • Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
  • Learn and apply new information and methods in the assigned area.
  • Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.
  • Work on routine assignments that may require some problem resolution.
  • Follow clearly defined standard operating procedures and scientific methods.
  • Adhere to all quality guidelines.
  • Work under moderate supervision with regular review of output by a lead or supervisor.
  • Refer complex or unusual problems to a supervisor.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience (preferred).
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for an entire shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working at heights of 20–30 ft regularly.

Pay

$20.70 per hour (includes shift differential). Bonus eligible: No.
