Shipping Associate - $23.25 p/hr (2PM Start)

About the Role
This role is very physical and requires the ability to exert the force necessary to use a hand truck to transport stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds a distance of up to 300 feet continuously throughout the day. It also requires the ability to stoop, bend, and lift product containers weighing 20 pounds from floor level up to 7-1/2 feet.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that product received from plant or other plants is recorded correctly.
- Loads and unloads product to appropriate distribution area to ensure shipping schedules are met.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (e.g., safety, Sarbanes Oxley).
- Fulfills work schedules, adheres to attendance policies, and follows other applicable operating rules and procedures.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and record information applicable to the job.
- One year of shipping or related experience (preferred).
