Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

About the Role

Supports the full range of Supply Chain responsibilities. May assume primary responsibility within a service area. Assists with prioritization and coordination of process improvements and automations.

Responsibilities

• Verifies inventory receipt and disbursement.
• Serves as a key liaison with Supply Chain associates/leaders, suppliers, shippers, and other stakeholders to address service and process issues.
• Works with supported functions to ensure operations/services work as intended, are user-friendly, and provide necessary information.
• Collects and measures qualitative and quantitative data to improve Supply Chain offerings and service performance.
• Provides process and application coaching and training for Supply Chain team members.
• Identifies and ensures cross-skilling across all critical processes.
• Reports on project status, issues, and risks on a regular and ongoing basis.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Prior management experience not required but may have informally led teams.
• This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology; applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
