About the role

The Shipping and Receiving role is primarily responsible for the maintenance and good order of the shipping and receiving records and work area, and for carrying out assignments set forth by the department manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.
• Process items for shipment according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Receive items according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Communicate incoming and outgoing status to appropriate internal customers and managers.
• Handle correspondence as directed by the Department Manager.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area.
• Ensure effective tracking of shipments.
• Ensure the best possible relationship between dealership, customer, and factory.
• Handle selected customer complaints.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving role (preferred).
• Automotive dealership experience (preferred).
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and possess a valid driver license.

Pay

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on qualifications.

Schedule

• Full Time
• Monday through Saturday availability
• Sundays off
