Duties & Essential Job Functions

  • Cook up and execute all shipping and receiving activities, including picking, labeling, packaging, and scheduling shipments in line with routing guidelines
  • Securely and efficiently prepare pallets
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements related to product identification, labeling, carrier selection, routing, and documentation
  • Keep accurate inventory records and assist with physical inventory audits
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, promoting housekeeping standards
  • Handle the destruction of obsolete materials and issuance of secured vault items
  • Collaborate with internal teams to swiftly resolve shipping issues or delays
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Ability to load and unload hand trucks with secure or sensitive materials according to compliance regulations
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on accuracy and accountability
  • Proven ability to follow safety protocols and quality control procedures
  • Solid organizational and planning skills; able to prioritize and make quick, effective decisions
  • Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with occasional overtime
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs. safely and regularly

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per day
  • Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner

Pay and Benefits

Pay ranges from $22–$28/hour, based on the role, level, and shift.
