Shipping and Receiving - Inventory and Parts Management
Pay range: $22.24 - $29.60 per hour
About the role
This is an allocated position that exists only when business needs warrant it and must be approved by the Regional Director. The role reports directly to Managed Services Site Leadership, depending on site personnel configuration.
May perform one or more of the following for high-end equipment (segment 5+): press operation, copier operation, bindery, fulfillment, QC, final check, pickup/delivery, facility maintenance, and mailroom duties.
Responsibilities
- Follows Ricoh Service Excellence performance requirements.
- Handles copy and mail center services, conference rooms and AV management, convenience copier fleet management, and various support services.
- Achieves customer satisfaction by consistently preparing, inspecting, compiling, and assembling projects accurately and in a timely manner.
- Meets deadlines by working at a quick and steady pace while maintaining quality and error-free work.
- Maintains all required reporting tools and meets Time Productive statistics established by the facility.
- Calibrates equipment to produce likeness in color and quality as required, matching originals.
- Transfers files electronically by sending files from the network to color equipment.
- Produces "error-free/perfect work" by demonstrating operational knowledge of duplication equipment.
- Maximizes print performance by simultaneously performing a minimum of two functions on print equipment.
- Troubleshoots all hardware and software issues with equipment.
- Maintains optimal machine performance by correcting simple machine problems (clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing machine oil, etc.) and reporting machine codes in the event of equipment failure.
- Presents a professional appearance to clients by dressing in professional attire according to company standards and maintaining a clean, organized working area.
- Maintains and orders inventories of equipment parts in accordance with company guidelines and processes.
- Meets company attendance standards by reporting to work punctually and working all scheduled hours and any required overtime.
- Organizes jobs by validating job name and number, reading instructions on the Job Request Form, and organizing supplies.
- Performs a full range of servicing and repair service procedures, including diagnostics, installation, removal, and retrofits on highly complex office products.
- Demonstrates required digital competencies associated with assigned products and level assignments.
- Performs troubleshooting and repairs or replaces equipment components as necessary.
- Completes technical training on new equipment as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience; 5 years is preferred.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to use, calibrate, and troubleshoot office and complex technical equipment.
Working Conditions
Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Work assignments are diversified, requiring interpretation, comprehension, and application of complex material, data, and instruction.
Some physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but includes walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that weigh up to 50 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files, and small parts). Moderate dexterity and regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination) are necessary.
