About the role
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator owns all inbound and outbound freight functions for our Cleveland facility. You will manage the full lifecycle of every shipment - from unloading and inspecting vendor deliveries to final inspection and confirmation of outbound orders - and keep our inventory locations accurate and organized in TrulinX ERP.
Responsibilities
- Execute all inbound receiving functions: unload, inspect, label, and put away vendor deliveries; scan packing lists for reconciliation; process returns and address nonconformance or count discrepancies in TrulinX ERP
- Execute all outbound shipping functions: perform final inspection and shipment confirmation of finished products for all pick tickets regardless of shipping method (parcel, LTL, FTL); verify labels and paperwork are correct the first time, every time
- Optimize freight costs by selecting the appropriate carrier and service level based on transit time, weight, and dimensions
- Confirm deliveries and set up outbound shipments across all carrier types; maintain strong working knowledge of carrier portals and requirements
- Manage consumable materials including skids and corrugated packaging - ordering, compacting, recycling, and waste disposal
- Execute stock transfers
- Actively maintain bin location integrity - everything has a place, and that place is always current and accurate in the warehouse management system
- Assist at the will call counter in our onsite retail store as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Forklift certification required - active certification preferred; we can facilitate recertification for the right candidate
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Prior ERP system experience required - you should understand how to execute receiving, shipping, inventory, and return procedures in an ERP; we will train you specifically on TrulinX
- Strong organizational skills and a process-driven approach - you build systems and you follow them
- Ability to optimize freight decisions based on cost, transit time, and shipment specs
- Reliable attendance - this role is on-site and your presence drives daily operations
- Must be available to work on-site in Cleveland, OH: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly; comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment
Qualifications

Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - on-site at our Cleveland, OH facility
- Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience
