About the role

Medtronic is hiring at our Memphis Airways location. This role requires in-person exchanges and a minimum of five days per week onsite to foster professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.

The Shipping & Receiving Store Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, parts, and finished goods. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains appropriate stock levels, and supports production and operational needs through timely movement of materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, quantity discrepancies, and quality concerns.
  • Accurately enter receiving transactions into inventory management systems.
  • Coordinate resolution of shipment discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production schedules.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks, as authorized.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience supporting Medtronic distribution center operations, including waving orders, assigning aisles, running orders, and batch swaps.
  • Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse operation.
  • Advanced English language fluency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication to convey goals clearly.
  • Active listening and the ability to give constructive feedback.
  • Experience in delegating tasks to team members.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • 5 years of related experience.

Pay

Salary ranges for U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) locations: $48,000.00 - $72,000.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
