About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives at organization to join our team. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the coordination and receipt of incoming inventory shipments at Premier.
Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee an area specifically created for incoming items
- Identify, count, label, and stage incoming inventory accurately
- Communicate via email and in person about incoming/outgoing items to stakeholders
- Confirm counts and clearly label incoming items
- Update and track incoming items in receiving software and in spreadsheet list formats
- Physically deliver items to correct storage/disposition locations
- Pull and deliver samples as requested and adjust inventory accordingly
- Move products and incoming materials to proper location using a forklift, hand truck, and/or hoist
- Package material according to established procedures
- Load/off-load trucks
- Organize and maintain supplies for the department, re-ordering as needed
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
- Follow Premier Press company policies and security and safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent/relevant experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic computer and email skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, and perform physical demands described below
- Consistent and dependable attendance
- Flexibility to support the team by covering early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience (or willingness to be certified; training provided)

- Detail-oriented with strong counting/verification accuracy
- Clear communicator and team-oriented
- Able to prioritize, multitask, and work independently when needed
Work Environment
The work is performed in the warehouse, where temperatures can fluctuate with extreme weather. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Very active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day
- Frequently lift or move items up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Pay
Starting at $19.50/hr
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (occasional 6am start, evenings, or weekends as needed)
