Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required. Onsite, full-time position, Monday–Friday.

About the role

In this role, you will perform general logistics functions including receiving, issuing, packaging, preservation, packing, and marking (PPP&M), and inventory management. You will execute daily warehousing tasks such as material handling equipment (MHE) operations, Navy ERP data entry, inventory counts, and material movement. Under supervision, you will perform COSIS, PPP&M, shipping, and receipt tasks while ensuring compliance with Navy ERP movement types (101–552) and maintaining Key Supporting Documentation (KSD).

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, issuing, packaging, preservation, packing, and marking (PPP&M)
• Execute material handling equipment (MHE) operations
• Conduct Navy ERP data entry and maintain Key Supporting Documentation (KSD)
• Perform inventory counts and manage material movement
• Ensure compliance with Navy ERP movement types (101–552)
• Adhere to COSIS and PPP&M procedures
• Operate MHE safely (license required)
• Follow OSHA safety standards

Requirements

• 2–4 years of logistics experience
• MHE License (required)
• OSHA 10 Certification (required)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Specific Skillset

• Knowledge of Navy ERP and standard logistics processes
• Experience with receiving, issuing, and shipping operations
• Familiarity with PPP&M and COSIS procedures
• Skilled in conducting inventory counts and managing material movement
• Understanding of Navy ERP movement types (101–552) and KSD maintenance
• Ability to operate MHE safely

Pay

$17.78 - $19.75 per hour + SCA rate
