Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Conduct a visual inspection of the container and contents for shipping, and damage, packing, and proper paperwork.
• Take photos of the incoming unit, data plate, and packaging.
• Tagging each received article properly.
• Originate the work order package and route it to the Quality department for action.
• Inspect all parts to be shipped to ensure proper shipping methods are used.
• Ensure appropriate packaging materials are being used.
• Ensure all customer items are shipped to the correct location.
• Ensure proper identification of material and containers.
• Select the appropriate packaging and transportation mode for all items being shipped.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control.
• Experience in warehouse operations.
• The ability to operate a forklift.
• Experience in using different online shipping systems (UPS, FedEx).
• Experience in using computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
