Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We're seeking a reliable and detail-focused Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our logistics operations in Asheville, NC, ensuring products move efficiently from receiving to shipment.

In this stable, hands-on role, you'll oversee critical shipping documentation, secure freight quotes, maintain ISO compliance records, and help ensure every shipment is accurate and on time. Responsibilities

• Provide information to lead operators for orders to be filled and shipped, and communicate the status of incoming shipments to production, maintenance, and purchasing personnel.
• Prepare all accurate documents for shipping and receiving procedures.
• Coordinate all incoming shipments, verify accuracy, receive them in the computer system, and communicate receipt to appropriate personnel.
• Enter accurate data in the ERP system for daily, weekly, and monthly reports and reconciliation.
• Obtain freight quotes from carriers (domestic) and brokers/steamship companies for export.

Requirements

• High school degree is required; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Warehouse or logistics experience required.
• Good communication and leadership skills required.
• Prior experience in an administrative role within a shipping/receiving/logistics department is strongly preferred.
