Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Tustin, CA

Compensation: $50,000-61,000

About the role

Experienced shipping professional responsible for executing and overseeing outbound shipments with high accuracy, ensuring compliance, on-time delivery, and efficient coordination with internal teams and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound shipping: pick verification, packing, labeling, shipment confirmation
• Ensure compliance with customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements (domestic/international)
• Verify documentation: BOL, packing lists, invoices, export documents
• Process shipments in ERP/WMS (SAP preferred) accurately and timely
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Planning, and carriers to resolve issues
• Schedule pickups and manage parcel, LTL, and freight shipments
• Monitor priorities to meet daily deadlines and SLAs
• Investigate and resolve mis-shipments and discrepancies
• Train/support junior staff and maintain SOP adherence

Requirements

• 3 or more years of shipping/outbound logistics experience
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes and documentation
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Detail oriented
