Shipping and Logistics Forklift Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, stage, and transport chemical totes
• Load chemicals into totes following company procedures and safety standards
• Safely load totes onto 18-wheelers for shipment and transport
• Inspect materials and shipments for accuracy and damage before loading
• Maintain organized shipping and staging areas
• Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Auxiliary tasks include assisting with general warehouse and logistics duties as needed
• Collaborate with shipping, operations, and management teams to ensure timely deliveries

Requirements

• Valid forklift certification required
• Previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred
• Experience handling chemical products or industrial materials is a plus
• Ability to safely load and secure freight onto 18-wheelers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to lift, move, and work in a physically active environment
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
