Shippers and Receivers

Reliable Equipment & Service Co. is a modern and clean tooling, repair, and distribution center servicing the Power and Utility Industry. We are currently looking for full-time Shippers & Receivers to join our growing team. If you are mechanically inclined, this is a great opportunity to learn a new trade. We are willing to train!

About the role

Shipping & Receiving has many parts that help define the role. Due to the need for cross-training, an associate may be hired for a specific role and slowly cross-trained to assist in other areas when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Receiving
  • Ensure that incoming product is properly labeled and stored.
  • Verify that product is brought in undamaged.
  • Accurately count incoming product and ensure it matches the associated purchase order.
  • Help maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Assist with annual/bi-annual physical inventory.
• Picking
  • Pick orders in a timely manner.
  • Pick orders accurately.
  • Report back to sales with any backorders.
  • Review own orders as well as others.
• Shipping
  • Verify product on shipment during packaging.
  • Pack and label product with shipping labels.
  • Process documents through shipping software.
  • Monitor shipping materials and notify management of any shortages.
  • Help maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Assist with annual/bi-annual physical inventory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to accurately count, differentiate, and identify product.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Hardworking & dependable.
