SHIPPER / RECEIVER I

Job Overview

Aids in the packaging, shipping, and receiving of goods, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures timely and accurate delivery of shipments.

Job Requirements

• Receiving/Put away:
  • Loads and unloads trucks and interfaces with common carriers.
  • Signs bill of ladings for incoming shipments and processes IBL, packing lists for receipts from vendors using SAP.
  • Checks incoming product against documentation to verify accuracy, sorts products, and prepares them for put away.
  • Receive product into SAP using barcode scanners or computers.
  • Puts product away in available space by proper area/zone using order pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners.
  • Breaks down/lumps floor loaded containers.
• Picking:
  • Picks products for customer orders, manufacturing orders, and sample requests using barcode scanners, pick tickets, shipping papers, order pickers, turret trucks, and manual or electric pallet jacks.
  • Performs other put away and pick duties, such as bin location audits, unit load, and carton transfers.
  • Weighs or hand counts quantities needed to fill customer orders, manufacturing orders, and sample requests.

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $33,200 – $49,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location).
