Job Overview

The Shipper / Receiver I position at TE Connectivity (TE) Global Logistics, Americas involves performing all functions associated with material movement through the Distribution Center, including material handling, paperwork, and recordkeeping. The role requires operating various pieces of equipment such as powered order pickers, forklifts, turret trucks, electric/manual pallet jacks, stretch wrapping machines, laser scanners, etc. Responsibilities may include lifting up to 50 lbs, working on high shelves, and maintaining proper lifting techniques.

Job Requirements

• Lifting and Material Handling: Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifting of materials weighing 51-75 lbs with proper mechanical assistance or team lifting. Perform repetitive lifting motions throughout 8–12-hour shifts. Move materials from floor level to overhead heights up to 30 feet using mechanical equipment. Maintain proper lifting posture: bend at knees, keep back straight, use legs for power. Grip and manipulate objects of varying sizes, weights, and shapes.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Maintain productivity and safety standards during extended shifts. Adapt to varying workload demands and peak season requirements. Sustain consistent performance throughout shift duration.

About the Role

The Shipper / Receiver I plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by following all DC procedures and demonstrating an understanding of DC standards and goals. This position also involves knowing and confirming the TE Connectivity Quality and Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.

Compensation

A competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $33,200 – $49,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total Compensation includes Base Salary, Incentive(s), and Benefits.
