Shipper/Receiver/Forklift

Key Responsibilities

• Check outbound orders for defects and accuracy according to order specs.
• Prepare BOLs and check items against to be shipped list.
• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand, using pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Pull finished orders and load trucks accordingly.
• Stage orders to load trucks at later time.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Ensure safe and accurate loading of orders.
• Unload raw materials from inbound trucks.
• Verify accuracy of orders received.
• Aids with month end inventory.
• Aids with weekly inventory checks of raw materials and packaging material levels.
• Place raw materials in correct area of warehouse or production floor.
• Manually load and unload racks and waste from inbound trucks.
• Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads.
• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse at all times.
• Any other duties as needed.
• Maintain forklift certification.

Requirements

• Candidates are preferred to have minimum of (3) years of experience in a manufacturing shipping environment, both loading and unloading trucks.
• Candidates are preferred to have minimum of (3) years of experience working on sit down forklift, for at least 6 hours a day.
• Computer experience in a Shipping environment.
• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Ability to follow directions as instructed.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean driving record & background.
• Must have a great safety record.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have great attendance record.

Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $17.55 - $28.03 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $20.76 to $20.76. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.

If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
