Shipper/Receiver Coordinator I

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Environmental, Health and Safety rules/regulations are adhered to during the shift.
• Execute established material handling processes to ensure materials are shipped and received and located properly and in a timely manner.
• Transportation requires attention to detail in contracts and transportation requirements, such as pricing discounts or fees.
• Verify the quality of the product that is received within the shift, operating within the company’s quality systems, processes and procedures.
• Monitor, measure and report on shipping & receiving related process performance, and general issues.
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify quantities and item numbers against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer and internal orders for shipment.
• Generate shipping documentation (packing slips, BOL, etc.) and coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight) for pickups.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and location tracking.
• Maintain an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

Job Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• The ability to effectively navigate an ERP system is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in a safety sensitive industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm; OT as needed.
