SHIPPER/CDL

VAL-CO is a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Shipper/CDL Driver in our Coldwater, Ohio facility.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with DC Supervision on status of all customer orders and any changes or adjustments required to them.
• Organize staging and loading of customer orders.
• Know proper weights and distribution for each load.
• Move and spot trucks and trailers as needed.
• Prepare and load orders for motor freight (Truck Load and Less than Truck Load), UPS service, and customer pick-up as required in a timely and efficient manner.
• Check that orders are safely packaged and loaded to prevent damage during shipment.
• Assist customers and visitors in a courteous and timely manner.
• Understand and complete all required paperwork and computer transactions correctly and timely.
• Follow all safety requirements and keep area neat and orderly.
