Shipper Assistant - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Physically prepare items for shipment, wrap and band per company standards & or CSIs.
• Determine method of shipment by checking the shipping notes and order routing.
• Absorb and assist with receiving and shipping defective products.
• Accurate record retention for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Absorb and assist with organizing stock, staging for loading and unloading trucks to maximize efficiency.
• Keep an organized and neat warehouse.
• Absorb and assist with weekly cycle counting of inventory.
• Function as backup to receiving clerk but not limited to other shipping areas.

• This position requires an individual with a strong forklift operating background.
• Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma / Equivalent 5 years of related job experience including inventory reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications (is a plus).
