Ship/Rec Specialist - Level 2

You will play a critical role in managing the shipping and receiving functions to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and products at our Phoenix, AZ location on an on-site work schedule. This role impacts the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain processes by ensuring shipments and receipts are handled smoothly, supporting production schedules and customer delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute shipping and receiving activities to meet production and customer requirements.
• Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, including documentation and physical inspection.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions in the system.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all shipping and receiving operations.

Requirements

You must have:

• Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and material handling procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and shipping software to track and document shipments.
• Ability to inspect and verify shipments for quality and compliance with company standards.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to shipping and receiving activities.
• U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws.

We value:

• Additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to support supply chain goals.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP.
