Shift Team Leader DC

About the role

Coordinates and monitors order processing, receiving, staging and shipping activities for the Logistics organization. Coordinates team's work efforts, communicates performance expectations and results, and enforces established company and departmental work & safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates team’s activities with other Warehouse shifts, Production and Procurement groups.
• Provides training, direction, and work performance evaluation of hourly warehouse personnel.
• Identifies and resolves problems/issues to ensure team meets performance objectives.
• Performs weekly inventories of supplies.
• Compiles and records OSD authorization information.
• Maintains and records daily Shipping and Receiving performance figures.
• Maintains customer return product in the inventory system.
• Participates in the drafting of WIS for specific areas of responsibilities within the warehouse operation.
• Promotes inventory accuracy through coaching and training.
• Evaluate powered industrial truck daily checklists for accuracy.
• Updates warehouse inventory daily.
• Scrap ticket processing as needed.
• Provides backup supervisory support, as required.

Requirements

• High School graduate with one to two years experience in a team-based environment.
• Experience and skills in Shipping, Receiving, or General Warehouse.

Pay

The starting pay rate for this role is $26.27 per hour.

Schedule

Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm to 7am
