About the role
Croda is seeking a Shift Team Leader to join our manufacturing team. The role involves coordinating, coaching, and directing shift personnel, ensuring all production operations adhere to site SHE and Quality protocols and procedures. The Shift Team Leader also acts as the site responsible person during out-of-hours activities and ensures compliance with SHE regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Production Quality and Quantity
- Monitor and Record Manufacturing Deviations in MasterControl
- Ensure Compliance with Production Schedule
- Coordinate and Cooperate with Quality Control (QC)
- Make Continuous Improvement Recommendations
- Coach and Lead Operations Crew
- Oversee Daily Activity for Team Members
- Control Material Flows and Manufacturing Operations
- Draft and Revise Official Manufacturing Documents
- Lead Deviation Investigations and CAPA Initiatives
- Collaborate with Development Groups
- Provide Daily Production Updates
- Serve on Various Committees and Teams
- Perform Lead Shift Process Technician Duties
- Conduct Troubleshooting and Report Manufacturing Deviations
- Manage Equipment Maintenance and Diagnose Problems
- Ensure Safe and Healthy Work Environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing supervisory experience
- cGMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Technical degree (2 year) or bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- Oral and written proficiency in English
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Technical writing and technical review experience
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for a minimum of 12 hours per day
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge and ability to apply scientific principles
- Comprehensive understanding of documentation including Batch Production Records, SOP’s, deviation & summary reports
- Ability to lead a team and interact effectively with others
- Identify and solve problems arising from plant operations
- Accurate and detailed record-keeping skills
- Understanding of equipment operation and maintenance
