About the role
The Shift Supervisor at Via Lido is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafes, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the cafes, including managing staff schedules and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all food and beverage items are prepared and served according to quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and courteous service.
- Train and mentor new employees, providing guidance on job responsibilities and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
