About the role
As a shift supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make your coffeehouse a welcoming space for your community. Every shift is a chance to brighten someone’s day while maintaining store operations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Uphold store operating policies and standards, including quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
- Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including adjustments for temperature, ingredient quantity, or substitutions.
- Delegate tasks to other employees and coordinate the work of two or more employees.
Requirements
- Six months of experience in a customer-facing role requiring constant interaction and fulfilling customer requests.
- At least six months of experience delegating tasks or coordinating the work of two or more employees.
Skills
- Ability to direct the work of others.
- Quick learner with effective oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of the retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build relationships.
