About the role

The Shift Supervisor at our San Mateo cafes is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff schedules, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage staff schedules and ensure coverage during peak hours.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service and prompt resolution of issues.
• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace by enforcing safety protocols and addressing any hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement training programs for staff.
• Assist in inventory management and food preparation to meet operational needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced service industry setting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Qualifications
