About the role

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring smooth service and compliance with all policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the cafe, including managing staff schedules and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and food quality.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Train and mentor new employees to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Perform cash handling duties and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for on-site positions).
