Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Shift Supervisor to provide leadership and support for Behavioral Health Technicians for our Residential Services team. This position helps ensure staff have the guidance, training, and oversight needed to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients. The role serves as a key operational resource during each shift and supports effective service delivery across the milieu. Responsibilities

• Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians in completion of assigned duties, documentation, and daily operational responsibilities.
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to Behavioral Health Technicians and Behavioral Health Technicians-Medication Observation.
• Promote trauma-informed communication and professional interactions with clients, staff, and community partners.
• Support accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Health Record.
• Conduct regular individual and group supervision meetings in collaboration with Operations Supervisors.
• Maintain confidential supervision records, coaching notes, and performance-related documentation.
• Participate in staff training, coaching, development planning, and corrective action processes as needed.
• Participate in interviews and hiring activities in collaboration with unit leadership.
• Complete performance appraisal responsibilities in collaboration with Operations Supervisors.
