About the role
The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Leadership Team on the sales floor. Their primary duties include supervising store staff, ensuring high levels of customer engagement, and driving sales.
Responsibilities
- Supports Store Management in generating sales potential by being present on the sales floor and setting a positive tone.
- Holds store keys to open and close the store without management as necessary.
- Ensures customer service is the top priority, collaborating with Sales Associates to meet sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manages rest and meal break schedules and covers all zones as needed.
- Provides relevant feedback, coaching, and redirection in areas such as customer engagement, selling, and sales floor etiquette.
- Maintains store standards and merchandising, escalating performance concerns to the Store Manager.
- Motivates and inspires associates to foster brand loyalty and create a positive environment.
- Assists with store security, including bag checks and fitting room monitoring.
- Treats staff professionally, courteously, and respectfully, and assists with processing returns/exchanges, authorizing discounts, and handling employee sales.
- Ensures compliance with LP policies and adheres to inventory management procedures.
- Represents the company in a professional manner.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of key holder experience in a retail setting preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Commitment to two store closings per week, including one on Friday or Saturday.
- Ability to use retail POS system and inventory scanner.
- Ability to make change using American monetary units.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- Completion of the Shift Supervisor three-month training program.
